The City of Sebastian announced on September 21st, 2022 a vacancy on the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The open position is for an alternate member of the Sebastian Planning & Zoning Board.
An alternate member is a fill-in for one of the commission members in the event a member is unable to attend the meeting.
Per a Press Release from the City of Sebastian, the Planning and Zoning Board “is responsible for planning and reviewing land use decisions within the City. This is a volunteer position. Applicants must have been a City resident one year prior to application and file annual financial disclosure.”
The Sebastian Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the 1st Thursday and the 3rd Thursday of each month.
Those interested must be a City of Sebastian resident for at least one year before applying.
To apply, qualified applicants can go to the Sebastian City Clerk’s Office or online at cityofsebastian.org. Sebastian City Hall is open from 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
Applications will be accepted until October 5th, 2022.
