Congressman Bill Posey, representing Brevard and Indian River Counties in Florida’s 8th Congressional District, had introduced House Resolution 1031 “Impeaching Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors” on April 5th, 2022.
The Resolution contains two Articles on why President Biden should be Impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Article I had included the reasons of President Biden’s failure to protect the U.S. Southern Border, failure to support U.S. Government Agents protecting the U.S. Southern Border, allow unchecked illegal immigration to the United States, and failure to check migrants for COVID-19.
Article II cited Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, pointing to President Biden’s failure to protect the United States of America from invasion, with the illegal immigration being considered an invasion. Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution says that the U.S. Government has the duty to protect the States from invasion. President Biden was also called out for encouraging illegal immigration. The illegal immigration, encouraged by President Biden, has resulted in terrorists illegally entering the United States, according to the House Resolution.
Specifically, the last sentence in Article II in the House Resolution said “President Biden, by failing to prevent the entry of known terrorists and persons known to belong to foreign political terrorist entities intending great harm to the U.S. across the U.S.-Mexico border, has failed to protect states from foreign invasion.”
