What a year 2021 has been and we wanted to recap how amazing our parents, grandparents and community members are!🗽❤🇺🇸
We advocated and were successful for:
-An end to mandatory masking and vaccines optional on a state level and local level. 🇺🇸
-An end to asymptomatic healthy quarantines for children on a state and local level. 🇺🇸
~ Equity director position removed from SDIRC. 🇺🇸
-Coming together as a community to get Amplify approved through the Department of Education and then adopted for school district over HMH which was less superior to Amplify and had sprinkles of Critical Race Theory in it which was also later banned by a Department of Education rule through our amazing Governor. 🇺🇸
~Schools now allowing our parents, grandparents and community members back into schools by removing COVID-19 protocols that kept them from volunteering, attending awards ceremonies and presentations and enjoying lunch with their children. 🇺🇸
~We have seen schools begin to allow children to return to normal schooling since March 2020. 🇺🇸
~Keeping Citizen Input the same at the school district and still allowing audio and visual of speakers during public input against what some board members would have preferred. 🇺🇸
-Currently we have a nationwide and local effort to permanently remove pornography, critical race theory and harmful books from the hands of children. 🇺🇸
~We had our first Moms for Liberty parade float, Christmas Party, donated SO MUCH food and gifts from that party to Hibiscus House, sponsored many families and children for Christmas to ensure locally ALL children had the most wonderful Christmas with gifts, goodies and even a little something special for the parents and/or grandparents! 🇺🇸
Thank you parents, grandparents, community members and some the school district for truly being best by kids. ❤🇺🇸🗽
-We won the Ted Brown award from the IRC Taxpayers Association for 2021 🎆
-National coverage with USA Today and so many other local news outlets. Shout out to John with TGI Now, Andy with Sebastian Daily, Sommer with TC Palm, Bob Soos with WTTB, Jon with Knowwhere News and Denise with CBS12. 🎆
Thank you Moms for Liberty National Exeuctive Board and Cofounders Tiffany, Tina, Marie, Pat and Jade. A HUGE shout out to our local executive board who never stop or take a break from fighting for parental rights and children Chris, Rick, Lamarre and Joe! You all are amazing to volunteer SO much time! ❤🇺🇸🗽
