Chandler Langevin Suspends Florida State House Race to “Primary” Thad Altman

June 17, 2022

Veteran, Patriot and Space Coast Young Republican Chandler Langevin has suspended his State House Campaign for District 32, Melbourne area. He was running to “Primary” State Rep. Thad Altman, who he has called a RINO (Republican In Name Only).

Langevin’s Press Release said he suspended his campaign is due to being redistricted into State House District 33, which is currently held by State Rep. Randy Fine. Langevin has instead filed to run in 2024 for the State House District 33 Seat, since State Rep. Randy Fine will be terming out at that time.

Langevin said in his Press Release “Americans are living in tyrannical times. In the past two years we have seen a stolen election, a disregard for medical freedom, the indoctrination of our children by the state, and ever more attempts to strip us of our 2nd Amendment and our ability to defend ourselves from this very tyranny.

As a staunch ‘Florida First’ conservative, I intend to be a strong ally to Governor Ron DeSantis in the legislature, and pursue the kind of policies that have made Florida a beacon of hope and liberty during these dark times.”

A biography of Langevin in the Press Release reads “Chandler was raised in Brevard County where he graduated from Titusville High School and achieved an Associate Degree from Eastern Florida State College. He spent 10 years in the United States Navy Reserve as a Hospital Corpsman attached to the Marine Corps infantry where he deployed to Afghanistan and the Pacific. Chandler also spent a year abroad studying the effects of communist governments in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.”
