Your interview with Luis Valdes, director of Gun Owners of America was very informative. Excellent source of information explaining the different facets of gun control.

First, I would like to say that I agree with Mr. Valdes’ answers regarding arming teachers. The government can restrict varoius types of firearms, but why? As the saying goes, the cat is out of the bag. The guns are already out there. The criminals have them, so what is the purpose?

The biggest issue in this country is, yes mental health, and not just mental health, but economics. The economy is creating desperation. Families are struggling to feed their children, pay mortgages, insurances and just basically, trying to exist. These are hard times for all. Gas prices rising every week to levels we haven’t seen in years. With the combination of covid, economics and mental health, there is a recipe for disaster on all levels.

When I watch the news at night, I ask myself when will this madness end? It will end when we get the President sitting in the White House out of office. Time for a change in Washington. Two more years of this administration is beyond frightening. This administration has only shown incompetency on all levels. Our forefathers must be rolling over in their graves.
