Moms for Liberty Miami-Dade Chapter Chairman Eulalia María Jiménez spoke at the Hispanic Republicans of Indian River monthly meeting on August 17th, 2022. Jiménez is a mother of six children, a holistic therapist and a small business owner. Her role as Moms for Liberty Miami-Dade Chairman has become effectively, her full time job. She has found being a Moms for Liberty Chairman very fulfilling in her life.

Jiménez spoke about how she became politically active when the COVID-19 pandemic happened. When she got started, through research, she discovered Moms for Liberty. She found they were advocating for the same things she was.

She also spoke about how her late father was very politically active in the United States. He was a a political prisoner and refugee from Cuba. He wanted to come to America for freedom and to escape the Communism of Cuba, as many did during that time.

Jiménez’s Father wanted her to become political active like how he was. He would tell her how eventually, what the Communists did in Cuba they would attempt to do in the United States. Instead, Jiménez would brush off her Father’s concerns. She would mock him, saying he should be grateful he’s in America and instead go enjoy his life.

Once she got politically active because of the COVID-19 pandemic, along what she discovered in her local public school system, she then understood what her father was telling her all those years. Sadly her Father is not around to see what she is doing, as he passed away seven years ago. She said when she first got involved politically and realized everything that has been going on, she felt guilt over how she was towards him.

As Chapter Chairman of Moms for Liberty Miami-Dade, Jiménez has seen an array of problems in the Miami-Dade School District.

She has had to deal with many instances of teachers and faculty in Miami-Dade public schools sexually assaulting students and or having inappropriate sexual relations with them. When Jiménez would talk about this at School Board meetings, her microphone would be shut off when she would speak during public input.

Jiménez has also had to deal with Miami-Dade schools hypersexualizing the children in the school district. She has had to deal with Critical Race Theory and Transgenderism getting pushed onto the students in Miami-Dade public schools.

Like Indian River County’s Moms for Liberty Chairman Jennifer Pippin, Jiménez has had many parents and teachers come to her with concerns. She said these teachers and parents are afraid to speak up because of backlash, just like the ones here in Indian River County. The teachers get concerned they will lose their jobs while the parents are concerned their kids will get backlash from teachers and faculty in the district.
