Tiffany Justice to Testify at House Hearing on Biden Administration’s Treatment of Parents’ Rights

WASHINGTON D.C. – The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution & Limited Government has scheduled a hearing on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. EST, to examine the Biden Administration’s alleged attack on the constitutional rights of parents to direct the upbringing and care of their children. The hearing titled “Free Speech: The Biden Administration’s Chilling of Parents’ Fundamental Rights,” aims to investigate the suppression of parents’ concerns about the educational system’s indoctrination of children.

The hearing will include testimony from Ms. Nicole Neily, President of Parents Defending Education, Ms. Tiffany Justice, Co-Founder of Moms for Liberty, and Mr. Tyson Langhofer, Senior Counsel, and Director of the Center for Academic Freedom, Alliance Defending Freedom.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is a Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee, representing Florida’s 1st Congressional District, which includes Escambia, Oklaloosa, Santa Rosa Counties, and portions of Walton County.

In a tweet, Justice expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent Moms for Liberty before Congress, “26 months ago we started Moms for Liberty with two chapters and $500. The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution & Limited Government aims to uncover the alleged suppression of free speech and expression and ensure that parents can exercise their constitutional right to direct their children’s education without government interference.
